Code Management allows you to define and maintain all clinical reference codes used throughout the system. Select a code type from the tabs above to view and manage its entries.

  • Use the type tabs to switch between code categories.
  • The current active type is highlighted in indigo.
  • All changes apply system-wide immediately.

To add a new code, click the Add Code button in the top-right of each type panel.

  • Use the pencil icon to edit an existing code inline.
  • The trash icon permanently deletes a code — this cannot be undone if the code is in use.
  • Toggle the Status switch to activate or deactivate a code without deleting it.

Bulk manage codes using the Import/Export buttons available on supported type panels.

  • Export: Downloads current code list as CSV for review or backup.
  • Import: Upload a CSV file to batch-create or update codes. Required columns are shown in the template file.
  • Import validates for duplicates before committing changes.

Allergy Types are categorized as Drug, Food, Environmental, or Latex. Each type carries a default severity that auto-populates patient allergy records.

  • Severe: Triggers immediate alert on patient chart access.
  • Moderate: Shown as a warning during clinical workflow.
  • Mild: Informational notation on patient chart.
