The payer directory lists all insurance companies you work with. Each payer has a unique Payer ID used for EDI submissions and eligibility verification.

The EDI Submitter ID is your clearinghouse-assigned identifier for electronic claim submission. Contact your clearinghouse to get the correct IDs for each payer.

EDI IDs are provided by your clearinghouse (e.g., Change Healthcare)
Add timely filing limits in the notes field

Inactive payers are retained for historical records but won't appear in eligibility verification or claim submission dropdowns. Reactivate if the payer is reinstated.
