1. Call patient immediately to confirm symptoms (headache, chest pain, vision changes)
2. If symptomatic: direct to ED / call 911
3. If asymptomatic: schedule urgent PCP visit within 24h
4. Review medication adherence — Lisinopril refill overdue

Overview
Clinical alerts are generated when patient data from RPM devices, claims, or lab systems exceeds configured thresholds. Alerts require acknowledgment and documented action within defined timeframes based on priority.
  • High: respond within 1 hour
  • Medium: respond within 4 hours
  • Low: respond within 24 hours
Alert Sources
  • RPM: Remote patient monitoring devices (BP cuffs, O2 meters, weight scales)
  • Claims: ED visit notifications, prescription lapses detected from refill gaps
  • Lab: Critical lab values from integrated lab systems (HL7 feeds)
Alert Actions
  • Acknowledge: Confirms the alert was seen and is being acted upon
  • Assign CM: Route the alert to a specific care manager
  • Close: Mark the alert resolved with documentation
All actions are time-stamped and stored in the audit log.
Alert Rules Configuration
Click "Alert Rules" to configure threshold settings, escalation rules, and care manager assignment logic. Default thresholds follow ACC/AHA and CMS guidelines. Custom rules can be set per member or condition.
