The Query Builder lets you create custom ad-hoc reports from healthcare data without writing SQL.

  • Step 1: Select a data source (Claims, Members, Encounters, etc.) from the dropdown.
  • Step 2: Click fields in the Field Selector to add them to your report.
  • Step 3: Add filter rules in the Filter Rules section.
  • Step 4: Click "Run Query" to see results, then export to CSV, Excel, or PDF.
  • Click "Add Rule" to add a new filter condition.
  • AND: All conditions must be true (more restrictive).
  • OR: Any condition can be true (broader results).
  • Delete a rule by clicking the trash icon on that row.
  • Combine date ranges with paid amount filters for cost analysis.
  • The SQL Preview shows the exact query that will run — useful for review or sharing with IT.
  • Click "Copy" to copy the SQL to your clipboard.
  • Toggle the SQL panel closed to maximize the results view.
  • CSV: Raw data for further analysis in Excel.
  • PDF: Formatted report for presentations or audits.
  • Click "Save Query" to name and store your current query configuration.
  • Load a saved query from the Saved Queries panel on the left.
  • Queries are user-scoped — your saved queries won't appear for other users.
  • For large result sets, add more filters to reduce rows before exporting.
  • The query results are limited to 1,000 rows in preview — full data is available on export.
